I am grateful for so many things. I hope you are too. Here's another pic of me in the newspaper, in probably 1983, '84? Who knew I was so local-famous back then? I'm in the back left with the Osh Kosh overalls...
Today, in honor of Matthew Perry, I will construct my own Moist Maker. I understand that it was Ross's sandwich (from Friends), but there's enough common degrees to make it happen... But the ability to sit down and have a grand meal with my family is something I pray I never, ever take for granted. These are the days I will remember on my deathbed, not the vacations or movies or motorcycle rides. No, those are wonderful too, but it's being with my family and friends to enjoy a meal, made abundant by our Father in Heaven, that I will always keep in my heart.
And to be grateful for living in the greatest country in the world. While the US has its fair share of problems today we are still blessed in countless ways to have this place to call home.
